In order to reduce cross-border transmission of COVID-19 and protect the health and safety of passengers, starting from 0:00 November 8, 2020 ICT Time, all Chinese and foreign passengers bound for China will be required to take nucleic acid test within 48 hours before boarding the flight in Cambodia. The specific requirements are as follows:

1.Make sure the nucleic acid test be taken within 48 hours before flight departure time. The validity period of the certificate will be calculated based on sampling date.For example, if the flight departs on November 8, the test must be taken no earlier than November 6.

2.Make sure the nucleic acid test be taken at the institution designated by the Chinese Embassy in Cambodia(http://kh.china-embassy.org/eng/lsfws_1/t1801597.htm) .

 3.(1).Passengers bound for China via direct flights from Cambodia must take nucleic acid test at the designated testing institution in Cambodia within 48 hours before boarding. Direct-flight foreign passengers can directly board the airplane from Cambodia with standardized negative certificates issued by designated testing institution of Cambodia and do not need to apply for certified Health Declaration Form from the Chinese Embassy in Cambodia.

(2). Passengers bound for China via connecting flights must take nucleic acid test in Cambodia within 48 hours before boarding, and then take necessary tests a second time in their last transit country(check the latest notices by the Chinese Embassy or Consulates in that country) within 48 hours before boarding the plane to China. Foreign passengers must apply for certified Health Declaration Forms from the Chinese Embassy in Cambodia and the Chinese Embassies/Consulates in the last transit country accordingly.

(3).Please note that currently tests are not available in all Cambodian airports. Passengers bound for China are recommended to avoid transit in Cambodia. 

(4). It is known to the embassy that NIPH opens for nucleic acid tests everyday without exception.

(5) Make sure the name, gender, date of birth and the number of the passport or other travel document as shown in the certificates are consistent with those shown on the passenger's passport or travel document.

(6)The requirements apply to passengers of all age including infants.
