On December 3rd, 2018, H.E. Wang Wentian, the new Chinese Ambassador to Cambodia, paid a courtesy call on H.E. Hor Namhong, Deputy Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia.

Ambassador Wang noted that China and Cambodia are good neighbors in harmony, good brothers in deep affection, good friends with sincerity and good partners through thick and thin. With the great responsibility and the glorious mission in mind, he is ready to work closely with the Cambodian side to implement the significant consensus reached by the leaders of both countries and to jointly advance the China-Cambodia comprehensive strategic partnership for new and greater development.

Deputy Prime Minister Hor Hamhong welcomed Ambassador Wang on his assumption of office, and appreciated the Chinese side for its significant contribution to the national independence and economic development of Cambodia. The Cambodian government, cherishing the traditional friendship with China, would further strengthen communication and coordination with China, in order to jointly advance the relationship between the two countries.
