In some rural areas of Cambodia, people still have difficulty in cooking and lighting due to the lack of sufficient energy. In order to effectively solve this problem, the Chinese side donated 1500 sets of biogas equipment, together with electric generator, pick-up truck and other necessary materials, to the Cambodian side in 2019. These materials have been distributed to the local community in many provinces of Cambodia, which have not only substantially helped with cooking and lighting of the local people, but also reduced the use of wood and helped to preserve the local ecological environment.
