Given the continued increase of imported COVID-19 cases from Cambodia recently, the Chinese Embassy in Cambodia decides to adjust the arrangements regarding nucleic acid and anti-body blood tests for passengers bound for China starting from 0:00 June 4, 2021 ICT Time. The specific clarification is as follows:

1. Starting from 0:00 June 4, 2021 ICT Time, all Chinese and foreign passengers bound for China will be required to take one nucleic acid test within 72 hours before boarding the flights in Cambodia at Preah Ket Mealea Hospital. After getting the report with a negative result of the nucleic acid test from Preah Ket Mealea Hospital, passengers bound for China are required to take nucleic acid and anti-body blood tests within 48 hours before boarding the flights in Cambodia at National Institute of Public Health (NIPH).(For instance, if you are going to take the flight on June 4, 2021, you need to take your first nucleic acid test on June 1, 2021 at Preah Ket Mealea Hospital and get the report of the nucleic acid test from Preah Ket Mealea Hospital on June 2, 2021. If the result is negative, you may continue to take the nucleic acid and anti-body blood tests at NIPH for the second time no earlier than June 2, 2021. You need to get your test results including the date of sampling and a medical certificate with the stamp of Ministry of Health of Cambodia from NIPH on June 3, 2021.)

2. All passengers are required to upload the pictures of the report with a negative result of the nucleic acid test from Preah Ket Mealea Hospital, the results of the tests (including the date of sampling) from NIPH, the medical certificate with the stamp of Ministry of Health of Cambodia, COVID-19 vaccination certification (for passengers who are vaccinated), Letter of Commitment on COVID-19 Vaccination (for passengers who are vaccinated with a positive result of IgM test, see attachment) and other documents required when applying for Health Codes online (https://hrhk.cs.mfa.gov.cn/H5/).

3. Any passenger who tests positive in nucleic acid or IgM or IgG antibody test will be deemed infected before, except those who hold the certificate of vaccination recognized by the Chinese Embassy in Cambodia. Any person who tampers with the test report or asks others to take part in the test as an impostor, or who tries to conceal his/her illness or positive results of anti-body blood tests by vaccination will be held accountable.

4. Passengers diagnosed infected or deemed infected before should be tested nucleic acid twice at designated institution (at least 24 hours apart) and provide a diagnosis certificate containing CT or X-ray results of the lungs issued by designated local hospital in accordance with the requirements of the Chinese Embassy in Cambodia. When the test results meet the requirements and isolation period of a single person living in a single room for at least 14 days is completed, the passenger may proceed to complete nucleic acid and blood antibody tests at the designated institutions before boarding the flight to China. When the test results meet the requirements, the passenger may apply for a Health Code with the Chinese Embassy in Cambodia via https://hrhk.cs.mfa.gov.cn/H5/.

5. Passengers bound for China are required to strictly follow closed-loop management protocols including self-quarantine, precautionary measures and avoidance of contact with others after receiving nucleic acid and anti-body blood tests.
